| | | Traveling agencies and tourists companies from Switzerland will participate in ABTS -2006
Governments of Azerbaijan and Switzerland came to an agreement to invite some Swiss tourist companies to participate in the international Tour exhibition ABTS- 2006. It will be held in Baku on 20-22 April.
A representative of Ministry for Economic Development emphasized that Azerbaijan also is interested in representing of our local tourism industry sector in Switzerland. The Azerbaijan side declared this on the Azerbaijan –Swiss sitting of the inter-governmental commission.

Unibank and Bankgesellschaft Berlin signed a credit agreement
Bankgesellschaft Berlin will allocate credits to finance projects on goods export from Europe and the USA to Azerbaijan.
Bankgesellschaft Berlin will allocate credits for such projects by means of insurance submitted by the
Leading export credit agency of Germany – Hermes. Some other export credit agencies from European countries and the USA will also participate in this process.

It should be mentioned that taking into consideration results of 2005, among other private banks in Azerbaijan,

State budget for 2007-2010
A State Commission charged to work out a state budget for the period 2007-2010 years was launched in accordance with a decree of Cabinet of Ministers. Vice Minister of Finance A. Bayramov heads this
Commission. It consists of 11 members, including representatives of Finance, Economic Development, Tax, Transport, Industry and Power Engineering Ministries and the Oil Fund of the Azerbaijan Republic.
First Vice-Minister of Finance Ilgar Fatizadeh will head a commission on forming the expensive
articles of a state budget. This commission includes 15 members, who represent different spheres for which financial means are allocated from the State budget.
All Heads of Companies and General Managers of various enterprises are obliged to reply on all inquires
And letters of this commission.
All prognoses on budget income share for 2007 should be prepared by 01 May.

Agrolizing Company announced a tender on agricultural machinery purchase
Joint Stock Company Agrolizing announced a tender on agricultural machinery purchase. The representative of Agrolizing Company informs that it is expected that about 250 combine harvesters will be bought in accordance with the first lot. The second lot includes purchase of 330 wheeled tractors, the third one - 160 caterpillar tractors, excavators, the forth one - 360 mowing machines, the fifth one includes purchase of machinery and equipment required to sow and collect the harvest.
About $1500 should be transferred for the first lot, $1000 – for the second one, $500 for the third lot, $550 for the forth lot and $600 for the fifth lot correspondingly.
All physical and legal entities interested to participate in this tender should submit all documents by
20 April. A deadline for tender proposals is April 27. The procedure is scheduled for April 28. It will be arranged in Joint Stock Company Agrolizing.
